
If you own a Viking range that was purchased between 2007 and 2014, then you might qualify for the Viking range recall announced in May 2015.
According to Viking, 52,000 products qualify for the recall. The affected ranges may cause burns or a fire hazard. There have been 75 reports of this hazard from owners of the Viking Range freestanding gas range in stainless steel, black, and white.
If you think your Viking Range may be affected by the recall, you should contact Viking Range immediately at (877) 929-2581 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or click here to submit your serial number and to get more information.
Viking Range Recall Information
There are three different places where you can find your Viking Range model and serial numbers:
*Remember to only check for these numbers when your range is completely cool*

On the bottom of the control panel above the door.

On the inside of the left side panel (first remove the left front gate and the burner bowl).

On the front of the oven cavity, below the control panel.
